Unwavering Faith During Times of Uncertainty #replay

I hope you all are doing well. Last week I went live on Instagram (something I haven’t done in a while) to discuss an important topic: unwavering faith!

I was joined by Christian Blogger Keonna Shaw @keonnashaw. Her testimony of walking by faith not by sight during such a traumatic time was inspiring. Our God is SO faithful.

One of the Scriptures that came to mind as I was preparing for our conversation was Matthew 14:30-31. As I read it over I was reminded that keeping UNWAVERING (steady, steadfast, firm) faith is about our focus.

But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” Matthew 14:30-31

When Peter “saw the wind” he began to sink. His focus shifted from Jesus to the circumstances. That’s the . Our focus. What are you seeing? What’s your wind? Is it a financial hardship? A tough relationship? A decision you need to make? I’m reminding my heart and yours- to keep your eyes on Jesus. Our circumstances may change. But Jesus never will. Sending love to today.
